A modeling accessory from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale — a set of pilot seat belts of the Soviet Air Force of the Second World War, in the Type 2 finish. The straps are 3D printed in color on decal paper and are supplemented with separate metal buckles. The set is universal (for All Kits) for fighter models in this scale. It is not a kit but a set for improving the cockpit.
The combination of a 3D decal and metal buckles gives the belts three-dimensional body, faithful colors and the realistic sheen of the hardware. The straps are shaped over the seat and look like loosely lying fabric. The Type 2 finish differs from Type 1 in the cut and the arrangement of the straps — it is a different variant.
Release the straps from the paper once they have soaked in water, lay them on the seat, let them dry and attach the metal buckles. Ripple and bend them for a natural look. Recommended for modelers with experience of fine accessories.
