This is a figure set with a scene, not an aircraft model. It contains two figures of American carrier deck crew in red jerseys, together with an ammunition loader and a long-range air-to-air missile intended for the F-14 fighter. The color of a jersey on deck is not decoration but a function: red belonged to the ordnance handlers, that is, to those who dealt with munitions. The set is designated as scene one and is produced by 3D printing, which on figures in this scale handles the folds of clothing and the equipment more sharply than a mold.
Loading heavy missiles under the wings and the fuselage took place on the flight deck with the help of a low loader with a hydraulic lifting arm. The crew had to work fast and in the cramped space between parked aircraft, so a scene with a pair of men at a loader is typical for a diorama.
The set is for builders of flight deck dioramas and for modelers who are adding a scene to a finished fighter. Painting figures in this scale calls for practice and a fine brush.
