SPACE is a cockpit accessory, not an airplane model. The set from the Czech firm Eduard combines 3D decals with three-dimensional, color-printed detail for the instrument and side panels and photo-etched steel seat belts. The result is a richly worked cockpit without the laborious painting of individual dials. The set is intended for the Italeri kits.
The North American T-6G Texan was one of the most widespread trainer aircraft, on which generations of military pilots all over the world went through their training. The roomy two-seat cockpit is clearly visible on a model, so faithful panels and belts lift the impression of a finished build markedly.
The 3D decals are not laid onto water and the sheet is not dipped: only the carrier paper is moistened, the element is taken off with tweezers and fixed with white dispersion glue. Their thickness and relief come from the carrier layer. The steel belts are shaped over the seats and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Everything is fitted before the fuselage is closed.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
