Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit from the American maker AMT (Round 2) in 1:48 scale. The subject is the N-1 royal starfighter of the planet Naboo from the film Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. It is a snap-fit kit, the parts are molded in color and join by clipping together, so you can build the model even without glue and paints. A waterslide decal sheet with fine markings is included.
The N-1 Naboo Starfighter is an elegant single-seat fighter with a characteristic chrome fuselage, an elongated nose and a pair of engine nacelles. In the film it is flown by the young Anakin Skywalker, and the Naboo fighters play a part in the defense of the planet. A pilot figure and an astromech droid complete the cockpit.
Molding in color and the chrome parts allow a quick build without painting. Anyone who wants to take the result further can tune the shades and the chrome, bring out the panel lines and apply a matte varnish or a clear coat to the surface. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic where you want to strengthen the joints permanently; do not apply glue directly to chrome surfaces, so that the finish is not damaged.
The model is supplied unassembled. Thanks to the snap-fit design and the molding in color it can be built without glue and paints; neither those nor accessories are included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
