AH-1 helicopter pilot and gunner (Vietnam) is a pair of resin figures in 1:48 scale from CMK for bringing a model or a diorama to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pair of carefully cast resin figures of the crew of the US AH-1 attack helicopter from the period of the war in Vietnam, in 1:48 scale from CMK. Only the heads and hands are separate; otherwise the figures are cast in one piece. Both are captured standing in front of the machine: one soldier has his arms along his body and holds a folder with the flight plan, the other has a hand in his pocket.
The AH-1 was the first purpose-built attack helicopter, used extensively during the war in Vietnam for direct fire support. The crew consisted of a pilot and a front gunner. The dress and the flight helmets match US Army helicopter units of the time.
Wash the parts, cut away the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue the heads and hands with cyanoacrylate glue. After laying down a primer, paint the flight suits, vests and helmets; the small details, such as the folder, add realism to a scene by a parked machine.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
