A set of sixteen turned metal barrels for the Japanese naval gun of 15 cm caliber (41st Year Type, barrel length 50 calibers) in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer MASTER (Poland). It is not a ship model but an accurate accessory: the metal barrels replace the plastic barrels from the original kit and give the armament the sharp, fine look that plastic cannot manage at this scale.
The guns of 15 cm caliber (41st Year Type) made up the secondary (casemate) armament of Japanese battleships, among them the Kongo and Fuso classes. The high count of barrels in the set matches precisely the numerous casemate battery of these ships.
For modelers building Japanese battleships of the Second World War who want to raise the fidelity of the secondary armament. The base kit and glue are not included in the package.
