This 3D-printed detail accessory is designed to upgrade the plastic model of the Aero L-29 Delfin trainer aircraft in 1:72 scale. It includes an air brake in the closed position in the design corresponding to the early production version. It is not an airplane model, but a replacement part that refines the fit of the brake panels compared with the part from the box.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was a jet trainer produced by Aero Vodochody and the basic training type of the Warsaw Pact air forces. The air brakes on the sides of the fuselage allowed controlled speed reduction on approach and during maneuvers.
Separate the part from the print supports, clean it up, and glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Wash the surface and apply a primer filler before painting. The closed position suits the aircraft both in flight and parked on the ground.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue, paints, and the target kit are not included in the package.
