Quinta Studio 1:72 Bristol Beaufighter Mk.I 3D interior decals (small version) are colored 3D printed cockpit decals on carrier decal paper in a reduced scope for models of the British Beaufighter Mk.I fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but an accessory for superdetailing the cockpit. The colored 3D printed elements are printed on carrier decal paper, off which they slide after a short soaking, and they have raised three-dimensional detail. The small version means a reduced scope aimed at the main cockpit panels, ideal for quickly bringing the interior to life. It is not photo-etch and it is not resin.
The set is intended for models of the British Bristol Beaufighter Mk.I heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the flat plastic parts of the main panels with realistic colored detail without laborious painting.
Paint the area in the cockpit with a dark base and polish it over with gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22); the Quinta elements have no adhesive layer of their own and hold precisely on that gloss, a matte ground is a mistake. Cut the element out, soak it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the carrier paper into place. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, their chemistry attacks the printed resin and will destroy the element. Unify the finished interior with matte varnish, and work with a sharp knife and tweezers.
The accessory is supplied for finishing a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
