This is a resin set of the internal fit-out for models of the de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou transport aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a detail accessory that replaces the cabin and the cargo compartment with more faithful castings. The package combines resin parts with photo-etched sheets and adds clear parts of the glazing as well.
The interior from the box tends to be simple on this type; resin and photo-etch bring a more accurate cockpit, instrument panels and the fit-out of the cargo cabin. The result is a markedly richer view into the inside of a model, which pays off above all with open doors or through the glazing.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the photo-etched sheets on a hard surface and glue them likewise with super glue or with a glue for photo-etch. Wear respiratory protection while sanding and paint the interior before you close the fuselage up.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
