Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of unpainted figures in 1:72 scale from Italeri devoted to French artillery of the Napoleonic Wars. Besides the figures of the gun crew the set also holds a gun, a horse team and supplementary accessories, so it allows a complete artillery scene to be built. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Artillery was a key arm of the battlefield in the Napoleonic Wars, and Napoleon, himself originally an artillery officer, gave it exceptional attention. French batteries became famous for their mobility and for the concentrated fire which not seldom decided whole battles. A crew with a gun and a horse team represents the typical picture of a field battery on the move at that time.
Separate the small parts from the fret and glue them with a thin plastic cement. Apply a base before painting. The crew's uniforms, the wooden and metal parts of the gun and the horses come out well with the technique of dark toning into the recesses and a dry brush on the edges. It is practical to paint the wheels and the carriage before the final assembly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
