Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Curtiss P-40N Warhawk fighter in 1:72 scale from Hasegawa. The model captures the last main production version of the famous P-40 family with its characteristic long nose and lightened structure.
The P-40 was one of the most widespread American fighters of the start of the Second World War and served with many Allied countries. The P-40N version was the lightest and fastest of the whole family and came out of an effort to improve the rate of climb and the performance at altitude. Although more modern fighters surpassed it in high-altitude performance, the P-40N proved itself at low altitude and as a fighter-bomber, and it remained in use in the Pacific and Asian theaters until the late phase of the war.
Work with liquid cement for plastic and finish the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting and lay the paints down with an airbrush. Color schemes with striking unit markings, such as a shark mouth on the nose, are popular. Apply the decals over a gloss base and complete the weathering with washes and fine dust on the lower surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
