P-51D Mustang vs Messerschmitt Bf109F-4 1:72 is a gift set of two plastic models of Second World War fighters including paints, glue and brushes from the Airfix brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The gift set in 1:72 scale contains two injection-molded plastic models: the American North American P-51D Mustang fighter and the German Messerschmitt Bf109F-4. It is a complete starter pack intended for an undemanding build: besides both models it also contains paints, glue, brushes and a stand for displaying the aircraft. Suitable as a first step into the world of aircraft modeling and as a themed pair for a display case.
The North American P-51D Mustang is among the most important fighters of the Second World War: thanks to its great range it escorted Allied bombers deep over Germany. The Messerschmitt Bf109F, nicknamed Friedrich, represented one of the best-performing versions of the famous German fighter and in the hands of experienced pilots remained a dangerous opponent. The pair thus captures a typical fighter duel of the Second World War.
The set is designed for beginners, yet it still pays to clean the parts carefully and to glue in a thin layer. Apply the enclosed paints with a brush in several thin coats, or use an airbrush for even camouflage. Finish the cockpits and the landing gear before closing the fuselage; apply the decals onto a gloss ground so that silvered edges do not appear.
The gift set contains paints, glue and brushes; the models are supplied unassembled.
