Hobby Boss 1:72 Schwere Plattformwagen SSyms 80 and Tiger I is a plastic kit of the German heavy railway flatcar with a Tiger I tank.

An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss that combines the German heavy railway flatcar of the SSyms 80 type with the Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. E Tiger I tank in the mid production version. The set thus makes it possible to depict the typical movement of a heavy tank by rail. The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Six-axle heavy SSyms flatcars served the Wehrmacht for the rail transport of heavy tanks, which had to be moved on rails because of their weight and width. The Tiger I in the mid production version was among the most feared German heavy tanks of the Second World War.
In 1:72 scale the parts are small, so clean them up carefully. Build the flatcar and the tank as separate subassemblies and paint them separately; the combination of the railway gray of the car and the camouflage of the tank creates a striking contrast. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and bring out the details with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
