Soviet tank barrel 76.2mm F-32 L/41.2 for T-34/76 model 1941-43 is a turned metal barrel from Aber in 1:72 scale for models of the T-34/76 tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a model but a turned metal replacement barrel for the Soviet 76.2 mm F-32 gun. It replaces the plastic barrel from a kit with a faithfully shaped metal part with a drilled muzzle and exact geometry. It is intended for models of the Soviet T-34/76 tank from the 1941 to 1943 production in 1:72 scale. Aber is a Polish manufacturer of turned barrels and photo-etched accessories.
The 76.2 mm gun was part of the armament of the early T-34/76 and, together with the sloped armor and the wide tracks, made the tank a feared opponent in the first half of the war on the Eastern Front. The smooth barrel without a muzzle brake has a slender, characteristic silhouette.
Cut off the plastic barrel and clean up the seat, then glue the metal one on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The metal part ensures a straight axis and an accurately round muzzle. Degrease it before painting and apply a metal primer.
This is a metal accessory, not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
