CMK 1:72 Crew for the 3.7 cm flak of a U-VII submarine (Atlantic version) is a resin set of three figures of German gunners.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds three resin figures in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker CMK. They represent the crew of the 3.7 cm antiaircraft gun of a German Type VII submarine in the Atlantic version. The figures are intended for more experienced modelers and bring the deck of a submarine model to life.
German Type VII submarines were the most numerous type deployed in the Battle of the Atlantic. In the later years of the war they received strengthened antiaircraft armament, which included the 3.7 cm automatic gun the crews used to defend themselves against Allied patrol aircraft. The figures capture gunners in the stances typical of manning the weapon.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and gate remnants and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a base (primer) and paint with acrylic or enamel paints; leather and rubberized clothing comes out well once brought out with washes. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
