Responsibility details are not available.
This short-run plastic kit from the manufacturer Amodel represents the Soviet single-seat aerobatic aircraft Yakovlev Yak-50 in the rendering of the later production variant. The model in 1:72 scale is intended for more experienced modelers who are used to cleaning parts up; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Yak-50 of 1975 was a single-seat all-metal aerobatic aircraft with a radial engine and retractable landing gear. It was created for the needs of the Soviet DOSAAF organization and became a successful machine for practice and for advanced aerobatic competition. Thanks to its low weight and powerful engine it achieved outstanding aerobatic qualities and gathered successes at championships.
With a short-run kit, expect careful cleanup of the parts and dry-fitting before gluing. Use liquid cement for plastic, fill the joints where needed and sand them down. For the bold colors of sport and club schemes, an airbrush, a primer coat and a gloss clear coat under the decals all work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
