Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic set of figures of a British tank crew in winter uniform in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The box holds several figures in gear suited to cold weather, ideal for completing a British tank or a diorama. It is a kit to be assembled and painted, not finished figures and not a vehicle model.
Tank crews of the Second World War wore overalls and practical clothing adapted to the cramped space of a combat vehicle; in winter these were completed with warmer jackets, caps and gloves. British tank crewmen carried personal weapons and accessories that made operating the vehicle and being outside it easier. Figures in relaxed poses bring the scene around a tank to life and give a diorama a story and a sense of scale.
Separate the parts from the sprues carefully, clean up the parting seams and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting. With figures it pays to concentrate on the faces and hands with realistic skin shades and on the folds of the winter clothing, which are brought out by a darker glaze (a wash) and a fine dry brush. Lay the British khaki shades and the winter details on in thin coats.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
