An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank destroyer Jagdpanther in 1:76 scale from Revell. The model comes from a proven older mold and suits smaller display cases and dioramas as well. The package tends to be complemented by a simple diorama base and figures, so that a complete scene can be built from it. The Jagdpanther was a German heavy tank destroyer built on the chassis of the medium tank Panther. It entered production at the beginning of 1944 and combined thick sloped frontal armor, good mobility and an exceptionally effective 8.8 cm Pak 43/3 L/71 antitank gun. That gun could destroy practically any Allied tank at long range. It was powered by a twelve-cylinder Maybach engine and had a crew of five.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the joints. Finish the running gear first, then close up the hull and fit the long barrel. In the small scale fine washes in the panel lines will show to advantage; after the base color and a clear coat under the decals, bring out the detail and suggest mud and dust with pigments. Use the figures and the base to bring the finished scene to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
