A scenic accessory for creating vegetation on a diorama: the lotus, a water plant with large round leaves. It suits scenes with a water surface.
Responsibility details are not available.
The lotus is a water plant of the warm regions of Asia and Africa. It grows in shallow still water and lifts large round leaves on long stalks and striking flowers above the surface. On a diorama it therefore tells you within a moment where and in what climate the scene takes place, and breaks up the uniform area of the water surface.
A scenic accessory from AMMO of Mig Jimenez from the group of low vegetation, intended for building dioramas and display scenes. The elements serve to create lotus plants in the water part of a scene. The number of pieces, the size of the leaves and the recommended preparation are given by the manufacturer on the packaging and in the instructions.
Arrange the plants irregularly, in clusters and with larger gaps toward the open water; a regular grid looks artificial. A water surface is built up in layers on a diorama, and if you set the plants in before you apply the last layer, they will look as though they really grow out of the water. Bend the edges of the leaves slightly before seating them, so that they are not perfectly flat. Judge their suitability for a particular scale by the size of the elements against the figures and vehicles in the scene.
The diorama base, the compounds for making the water surface, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
