Messerschmitt Bf 109 D-1 (Decals In 1/72, 1/48 Included) is a slim printed publication from the Kagero house in the illustrated References line, with a decal sheet belonging to it.
Responsibility details are not available.
A reference volume on the Bf 109 D-1 was published by the Polish house Kagero in its illustrated References line. It is not a kit and not a modeling accessory. It is a printed A4 booklet to which a decal sheet in the two scales mentioned in the name is enclosed.
The D version, known to modelers as the Dora, was the last branch of the Messerschmitt with the Jumo 210 engine. It came about before the war, served with night fighter units and in training, and was quickly pushed aside by the more powerful E series with the Daimler-Benz powerplant. That is exactly why the Dora is an unusually rewarding subject: it has a slimmer nose, cooling arranged differently from the later machines, and it carried finishes that are no longer seen on newer Messerschmitts. Several machines of this version also ended their service with air forces outside Germany, so colorful neutral markings appear in the sources as well.
For modelers who want to build from documented references, and for collectors of literature on the aviation of the 1930s. The volume concentrates on one selected aircraft, so it serves as a direct reference during a build without anyone having to search through it for long.
