Besides the photo-etched brass parts, which replace simplified plastic elements and add faithful details of the carriage and the shield, the set also holds 105 mm artillery ammunition to complete a scene. Intended for plastic models of the German leFH18 light field howitzer in 1:35 scale.
The leFH18 (leichte Feldhaubitze 18) was the standard German light field howitzer of 105 mm caliber, deployed on a mass scale throughout the Second World War. It served for the fire support of infantry and was among the backbone of German artillery; the split-trail carriage and the gun shield are typical of it.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, make the bends on a bending tool and glue the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The ammunition can be placed about a scene or a diorama. Work section by section and degrease the surfaces before gluing. The set is suited rather to more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
