This resin detail set from the Quickboost line, made by the Czech manufacturer Aires, brings fine windshield wipers for the model of the Bell UH-1D Huey utility helicopter in 1:48 scale. It is not a helicopter model, but a small accessory that sharpens the cockpit area.
Wipers are a small thing, yet they add a great deal to the realistic look of the glazed nose. The thin castings replace the coarser plastic parts, or add an element that the kit itself does not have.
Carefully separate the parts from the casting block with a sharp cut, wash off the mold release agent and glue them with a tiny drop of super glue. Because the parts are small, tweezers help. Paint the wipers black and fit them at the very end of the build.
This is a resin modeling accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
