Gunze replacement diamond files 1 mm and 2 mm wide are replaceable working parts that are clamped into a holder. They are made for very narrow seams and engraved lines.
Responsibility details are not available.
These are replaceable working parts, not a finished tool with a handle. The word replacement in the name means that the files are clamped into the matching holder from the same brand. What matters is the size: widths of 1 mm and 2 mm are among the narrowest profiles used in modeling, and they are aimed at places where an ordinary file would also take away what is not meant to be taken away.
The narrower one-millimeter profile is for the finest lines and the tightest seams, while the two-millimeter one offers more stiffness and faster progress where there is a little more room. The difference between them is not in coarseness but in where they will fit at all. The diamond surface handles resin and metal as well, so the profiles suit add-on sets too, not only injection-molded plastic.
For the modeler who already uses the matching holder and needs to replace worn working parts, or to add both of the narrowest widths at once.
Do not breathe in the dust from sanding and work in a ventilated space. Thin profiles can bend under greater pressure, so guide them lightly.
