A thick effect product for depicting vomit. It stays glossy and slightly three-dimensional, so on the floor of a tavern or on a drunk's chest it acts like a fresh fluid.
Responsibility details are not available.
Vomit belongs to that group of diorama details which cannot be played by an ordinary paint. The product from the effect branch of the gaming line is therefore thicker, holds the shape of a small puddle and keeps its sheen once dry. The tone is a brownish yellow-green with murky impurities, so it suits the floor of a tavern, a deck in a storm, the chest of a drunken mercenary and the maw of a sick beast.
The habit of finishing every model with an overall matte varnish kills this effect for certain. The varnish knocks the sheen down, the puddle goes matte and a fresh fluid turns at a stroke into a stain of paint. The error therefore does not arise during application but in the last step of the build. The order has to be reversed: varnish the model first and let the varnish cure, and only then add the effect and cover it with nothing more. Any surplus is removed with a cotton swab while the mass is still damp.
Credibility is made by the shape, not by the amount. Let the mass run in the direction gravity would pull it and thin it at the edges into a narrow rim. A small puddle with the trace of a few drops beside it will act better than a large continuous area, which on a model reads as spilled paint. The traces around the main puddle deserve the same attention, because it is precisely they that give away what took place there.
