About product

Vallejo Model Color Sun Yellow, a matte acrylic paint

Sun Yellow is an opaque matte water-based acrylic paint from the Model Color line in a bright, saturated warm yellow tone. It suits bold areas, markings, accessories and fantasy and gaming subjects. The paint is non-toxic, odorless and comes in a dropper bottle.

Use

  • Applied with a brush in several thin coats; for the airbrush it has to be thinned.
  • Shake the bottle well before use.
  • For full coverage apply it over a white or light base.
  • It also works as a lighter accent over a more muted yellow.

Who it is for

For figure painters and plastic modelers alike. Suitable for beginners and experienced modelers alike.

Water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic and odorless. Store at room temperature out of the reach of children and shake before use.

FAQ

A bright, saturated warm yellow, bolder than the muted yellow tones.

Apply the paint over a white or light base, since yellow pigments are less opaque on their own.

Yes, but it is thick, so it needs thinning for the airbrush.
