The lighter position of the American olive Olive Drab Flashed Shade from the Lifecolor acrylic line serves for brightening. On Allied vehicles it lifts the hood panels, the jerrycans and the raised parts of the engine out of an otherwise flat green surface.
The darkest position of the German tank gray Panzergrau Deep Shade from the Lifecolor acrylic line belongs at the exhausts, in the depths of the running gear and at the joints. It can go almost to black without reaching for pure black.
The base German tank gray Panzergrau Ground Color from the Lifecolor acrylic line is the starting surface for vehicles of the early war period. A dark neutral tone is at the same time the best neighbor for a barrel, an exhaust and the running gear.
The brightened position of the German gray Panzergrau Flashed Shade from the Lifecolor acrylic line works on the edges. On a gray vehicle it is the simplest way to get the look of polished sheet metal onto the grab handles, the steps and the rims of the hatches.
