Three replacement synthetic tips for the handle of the Phoenix Plume system from the maker DSPIAE, in the very fine round version. Note that even though the word brush appears in the designation, this is not a finished brush: the handle with interchangeable tips is offered separately by the manufacturer. Without it the tips cannot be used. The manufacturer supplies three pieces in the package.
The version marked with the letter U is described as a very fine round tip. A fine round tip is the tool for work where the painting goes point by point: highlighting of edges, small lettering, reflections on instrument glass, rust in a single spot and weathering dots. It is precisely with such strokes that an interchangeable tip pays off, because it wears out the fastest and point work cannot be done with a frayed fiber.
The tip is fitted into the handle and secured without a tool, so the change takes a few seconds and can be done in the middle of painting. After the work rinse the tip out before the paint dries; dried acrylic in the heel of the fiber will open the tip up irreversibly. Do not leave the brush standing in a jar of water or of thinner and store the tips loose, without pressure on the fibers. The shape can be straightened between fingers moistened with water.
These are replacement tips. A handle, paints and other aids are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
