Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the American M4 Sherman tank in 1:40 scale from Revell. It is a limited release from the original mold of 1955, which the manufacturer supplies in a period box and for which it states 64 parts. The 1:40 scale is a so-called box scale, that is one set by the size of the original box, not by today's standard; that is usual with kits from the 1950s.
The M4 Sherman was an American medium tank, the most produced Allied tank of the Second World War. It was neither the best armored nor the most heavily armed, but it was reliable, easy to repair and could be built in enormous numbers and shipped across the ocean. It served with American, British, Soviet and French units alike and in many armies it survived long after the war in the most varied modifications.
Molds from the 1950s build differently from today's kits: expect heavier flash, more pronounced mold seams and looser fit, so it pays to clean every part up first and to try it dry. The manufacturer itself ranks this kit among the more demanding projects for the experienced. It is a good idea to fill the gaps and sand the surfaces, otherwise they will show under the spray. After gluing, a primer helps to even out the differences in the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
