Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of German standard jerrycans in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT, in the form with the maker's mark Müller and the year 1939. The manufacturer gives ten pieces in the package. The jerrycans are fixed to the hull, the fenders or the brackets of a finished model, and they serve equally well as a scenic accessory.
The German standard jerrycan, which became the pattern for the whole world, was produced at a whole range of firms, and each of them left its own mark and year of manufacture in the sheet metal. For modelers and collectors this is a distinguishing detail: the mark makes it possible to place a jerrycan in a particular period, and a scene set in 1939 should therefore not carry jerrycans from 1944. That is exactly why the manufacturer lists eleven separate sets, each with a different mark, instead of a single universal one.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
