This is not a model of a vehicle but a track set in the damaged version: individual T161 links together with the drive sprocket for the American M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle in 1:35 scale. The box states 170 links and that they are for Academy and Tamiya kits. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its parts from photopolymer resin. The set suits a knocked-out or damaged vehicle and a discarded length of track in a diorama.
The T161 is a steel track with rubber pads that the Bradley has used since it entered service in the 1980s. When a mine or an anti-tank missile strikes, the track is broken and the individual links tear or deform while the vehicle stays where it is. Such a scene is popular in dioramas, because it explains at once what has happened.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Leave the torn length of track lying loose on the ground so that its outline looks natural. Paint over a dark metallic base, bring out the breaks and scuffed areas with a lighter metal and suggest rust with pigments and earth shades.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The Academy or Tamiya base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
