HEKI Bushes 4 cm, 8 pcs

Eight finished model bushes from the German maker HEKI, four centimeters tall. Four centimeters is a practical middle size for a bush: the piece is large enough to hold up on its own, yet small enough to be used in a group without overshadowing its surroundings. Eight pieces in the box are enough for several overgrown spots or for one continuous strip along a lane.

Use

• strips of bushes along lanes, fences and grassy strips between fields
• overgrown corners of yards and the foot of walls
• the transition between a meadow and the forest edge
• filling in between low tufts and mature bushes
• overgrown edges of sidings and disused tracks

How to work with the bushes

The bushes are pushed into a prepared hole or glued with a drop of PVA glue. Arrange them in clumps of uneven height, as bushes grow in clusters in nature. Do not make the strip along a lane continuous; leave gaps in it and vary the density, otherwise it looks like a hedge. Add a tuft of grass or leaf granulate around the foot and the transition from the ground will not be abrupt.

For layout and diorama builders fine-tuning low vegetation, and for modelers who need several medium-sized bushes at once. Eight pieces in the box are enough for the bushes to be divided among several places in a scene, which gives the landscape a consistent character. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
