HEKI Grass Strips, Summer 10 mm, 8 pcs is a set of eight strips of tall grass in a summer shade.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eight grass strips from the German maker HEKI, one hundred millimeters long, with growth ten millimeters high, in a saturated summer shade. Tall, fully green grass matches the unmown edges of plots in July, when the growth is at its densest. On a model it produces a line that can be laid along a fence, a wall or a track and that immediately gives the scene the sense that the landscape is alive and growing.
The strips are not self-adhesive; they are fixed with modeling glue, ideally a flock adhesive or PVA glue. Apply a thin line of glue and lay the strip into it, shortening it with scissors if needed. Fray the ends with your fingers and keep the joints irregular. Mixing strips with individual tufts works very well: the strip makes a continuous line and the tufts let taller clumps rise out of it, so the growth does not have the same height along its whole length.
For layout and diorama builders who need a continuous line of tall grass, and for modelers looking for a general-purpose summer shade. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
