A model of a Heki deciduous tree in a winter version, height 17 cm, one piece. A scenic accessory for winter scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A winter deciduous tree shows what is hidden the rest of the year: the structure of the crown, the branching and the silhouette against the sky. That is exactly why it is more conspicuous in a scene than a summer tree and can stand on its own. At the same time it demands consistency, because a bare crown will not fit into a green summer scene. Once you reach for winter, the ground, the road and the roofs of buildings should match it.
The package holds a single piece 17 cm tall. Such a tree suits use as a specimen: by a building, on a field margin, by a wayside cross along a road, or in the middle of a snow-covered field, where its branches break up an empty white area. Place it so that the viewer sees it against a light background; otherwise the fine branching disappears. A height of 17 cm corresponds in 1:87 scale to roughly 15 meters and in 1:35 scale to just under 6 meters, but no scale is given in the name.
Thin branches are the most vulnerable part of the model, so always hold the tree by the trunk, not by the crown, and set it in place only at the moment the surrounding terrain is finished. Glue the trunk into a drilled hole and work the base in so that it passes into the snow-covered area. If you want to add snow, sprinkle fine material only on the upper sides of the thicker branches and in a small amount. A continuous white cap on every branch looks like sugar icing.
The package holds one tree 17 cm tall. The base, the snow, the terrain materials, the glue and the paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
