The Soviet T-34 medium tank was one of the most widely used combat vehicles of the Second World War. Its conspicuously wide running gear with large road wheels is its hallmark and it is visible from either side on a finished model, so it is the tracks that decide how the vehicle looks. The tread pattern of T-34 tracks changed during production and the V-shaped version is one of the types that appeared on these machines.

Print supports remain on the parts. Cut them off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully so that you do not damage the tread. The parts are not polystyrene and ordinary polystyrene cement has no effect on them, so reach for cyanoacrylate glue. Wash and degrease them before painting. Offer the track up dry first and check how it sits around the drive sprocket and the idler wheel. It is more comfortable to paint it separately and to fit it on the model only after the running gear has been painted.
For modelers who are not satisfied with the tracks supplied with the kit and want a more faithful link shape and a clearer tread pattern. It stands out on the finished model after dry-brushing and after mud has been applied to the running gear. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
