Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet and Russian Tupolev Tu-160 strategic bomber in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. It is a large model: the assembled aircraft is about 37 centimeters long and with the wings spread it spans more than 38 centimeters. The wings can be built at various sweep angles and the bomb bays can be left open with the rotary launchers and dummy guided missiles.
The Tupolev Tu-160 is a supersonic strategic bomber with variable-sweep wings, the largest and heaviest combat and supersonic aircraft ever built. It entered service at the close of the Cold War and carries long-range strategic guided missiles in two internal bomb bays. Its pale finish and elegant lines earned it the nickname White Swan; it remains the flagship aircraft of Russian long-range aviation.
On a large model, work in subassemblies and use thin cement for plastic. Decide in advance on the position of the wings and on whether you will leave the bomb bays open. Finish and paint the inside of the bomb bays and the launchers before closing them up. The pale finish calls for a good primer and an airbrush; bring the fine panel lines out with a light wash so that they do not disappear on such a large surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
