This set is NOT a model of the car but a three-dimensional color interior in the form of a 3D decal on a decal backing, intended for the injection-molded Ford GT40 Mark II kit from Fujimi. It contains photo-realistically pre-colored 3D printed parts (the dashboard, the instruments, the linings and cockpit details) supplemented with resin parts. You have to own the basic Fujimi kit separately.
The Ford GT40 Mark II is the legendary American racing car of the 1960s with which Ford took on Ferrari's dominance in endurance racing. It was the GT40 Mk II that in 1966 took the first three places at the head of the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans and became an icon of motorsport.
The 3D decals soften in water and go straight onto the part like conventional decals - they give the dashboard and the interior three-dimensional relief and a photo-realistic look WITHOUT painting. Do not use a setting solution such as Micro Sol - the printed resin will not take it and the surface would be damaged. Wash the resin parts free of print resin residue, cut the print supports off and glue them with cyanoacrylate; sand with respiratory protection.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
