Airscale instruments and placards Hawker Typhoon Mk.1B 1:24 is a set of color decals for the instrument panel and the cockpit placards of the British fighter-bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not an airplane model but a set of decals in 1:24 scale from the British company Airscale. It combines color decals of the instrument panel with the cockpit placards of the British Hawker Typhoon Mk.1B fighter-bomber. It makes it possible to create a faithful and detailed cockpit with legible dial faces and small lettering alike.
The Hawker Typhoon Mk.1B was a massive British fighter-bomber powered by the powerful Napier Sabre engine. In the second half of the war it made its name above all as an attack aircraft against targets on the ground, armed with cannons and with unguided rockets or bombs. It was the scourge of German columns and armored vehicles.
The decals are applied to a smoothly varnished surface, ideally over a gloss clear coat and with a decal softener. Once dry, the surface is unified with a matte varnish, and the dial faces can be highlighted with a drop of gloss clear coat imitating glass. The small placards call for tweezers and patience. The set usually contains illustrated instructions.
This is an accessory (instrument and placard decals), not a kit. The airplane model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
