This 3D-printed resin set contains a pair (2 pcs) of LAU-68, LAU-68D/A and LAU-131/A aircraft rocket launchers for unguided 70 mm Hydra rockets. It is not a model but a faithful weapons accessory in 1:32 scale, usable on aircraft and helicopters in both American and Ukrainian service.
Rocket launchers of the LAU series carry seven unguided 2.75 inch (70 mm) rockets of the Hydra family. They are among the most widespread aircraft weapons for supporting ground forces; they are used by attack aircraft and helicopters in a whole range of armed forces. The rockets are fired from the launcher and serve against area and lightly armored targets.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, cut away the print supports and sand the cuts with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The mouths of the tubes stand out once they are picked out with a dark wash; check the correct orientation and symmetry on both pieces.
This is an add-on weapons set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
