The Leopard 2A4 is a main battle tank of German origin and the most widespread version of the whole Leopard 2 family. You will recognize it by the angular welded turret with flat front plates, the 120 millimeter smoothbore gun and the low-set hull with trailing skirts over the running gear. It was exactly the A4 version that entered service with a number of European armies and became one of the most frequently built modern subjects.
The qualifier in the name marks the form in which the set is carried. With modern vehicles the individual versions differ in the fittings on the turret and on the hull, and above all in the color scheme and the markings.
