A jack with a bracket in 1:35 scale is a small resin set with etched metal that replaces the simplified tools on the fender of German wartime vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
The jack was part of the equipment carried by almost all German fighting vehicles, and yet in kits it tends to be dismissed with a coarse molding. This small set from the Italian brand Royal Model replaces it with a faithful resin copy, including the clamping bracket, complemented by etched metal. In itself it is not a model; it belongs on a vehicle that is already assembled.
The heavy screw jack on German vehicles was called the Wagenheber and was usually carried on the rear or on a fender, clamped with metal straps. The crew needed it when changing road wheels and when repairing a broken track in the field. It is exactly such small things that make the difference between a clean kit and a credible-looking vehicle.
Prepare the small castings over a mat with a raised edge, so that they do not jump off into the carpet. Separate the casting remains with a saw right at the start, clean the part and hold it with tweezers while gluing. The metal parts come out well in a darker steel shade with a light rub of graphite; the wooden part will take oil glazes.
The vehicle, paints and glue are not supplied. The jack is a finishing touch that it is sensible to seat only after the hull is painted, so that it does not break off during handling.
