This equipment from the Italian brand Royal Model is a resin set of small material with which the empty surfaces of a built M 109 howitzer are filled. In it you will find bags, crates, rolled tarpaulins and other small items belonging to the crew. The kit of the vehicle is sold separately; this is exclusively add-on material for a model that is already assembled.
The M 109 is an American 155 mm self-propelled howitzer on a tracked chassis with a rotating turret. It entered service in the 1960s and, thanks to combining artillery power with the mobility of armored vehicles, it became the most widespread weapon of its category in the West. It served in dozens of armies and gradually went through a series of upgrades that differed in barrel length, sighting equipment and armor.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface; otherwise the paint will not hold. Separate the casting remains with a fine saw and level the area with a file. Cyanoacrylate glue holds the joints, because ordinary liquid cement for polystyrene does not work here. Protect your breathing while sanding. Once a primer is sprayed on, the textiles will come out with a darker wash and a dry brush.
Glue, paints and a base kit are not included in the package.
