The continuation of the line from the Italian brand deepens the degree of detail on the same vehicle. The individual sets follow on from each other, yet they can also be obtained separately according to how far you want to take the build. Photo-etched metal replaces shapes that cannot be drawn out of a mold and looks considerably finer on a model.
Self-propelled anti-tank guns on an older chassis were a solution born of necessity, and yet they proved themselves in the field. The low weight made it possible to change a firing position quickly, and in the defensive fighting of the second half of the war that was more important than armor. The crew worked in a compartment open at the top, which gave an excellent view but protected them neither from artillery fire nor from the weather. In period photographs the vehicles are therefore piled about with tarpaulins, crates and personal baggage, which makes the build a rewarding subject for a figure scene.
If you combine both sets, lay out the order of assembly in advance, so that you do not get into a situation where a finished part prevents another from being seated. For thin sheets a surface of smooth glass suits well, as they do not twist on it. Apply the paint in thin layers, so that sharp metal edges stay sharp after spraying too.
