This set from CMK is not a standalone model but a detail accessory for 1:35 scale. It combines cast resin and 3D-printed parts and serves to add detail to the open fighting compartment of the German Marder III Ausf. M (Sd.Kfz. 138) self-propelled tank destroyer. It replaces and supplements the parts of the plastic kit with more faithful detail.

The real subject

The Marder III Ausf. M was one of the improvised German tank destroyers of the Second World War. On the chassis of the Czechoslovak Panzer 38(t) it carried a 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun in an open-topped superstructure. It is the open fighting compartment that makes the interior highly visible, so detailed work on it pays off.
