The Aber 1:35 photo-etched detail set for the Sd.Kfz.250/8 Neu (Stummel) is an extensive metal accessory for a plastic model of this German armored half-track. It is not a model but a set of parts to improve one.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive set of photo-etched parts from the Polish manufacturer Aber, combining brass and nickel frets. It is not a kit or a finished model: it is an aftermarket accessory for plastic models of the German light armored half-track Sd.Kfz.250/8 Neu in 1:35 scale. The Stummel version carried a short-barreled 75 mm gun. Acetate film and fine wire for the framework are usually included as well.
The set makes it possible to detail the exterior and the interior finely: the upper armored shields, the internal stowage boxes, the seat backs, the vision block mounts, the tool clamps, the base of the Notek light and elements of the running gear. The model thus gains depth and variety matching the real vehicle.
Detail and paint the interior and the running gear before closing the hull up. Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel and make the bends in a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy, degrease the metal beforehand and treat it with a primer for metal before painting.
This is a metal accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
