A set of 4 turned brass 130mm gun barrels for the AK-130 (1:350, Aber) for models of ships of the Russian Navy. A metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels of the automatic naval gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish maker Aber (the L series) contains 4 turned brass gun barrels of the automatic naval gun of 130 mm caliber of the AK-130 system in 1:350 scale. It is not a ship model but a precise metal accessory that replaces the plastic barrels on modern models of Russian vessels and gives them a sharp, faithful look.
The AK-130 is a rapid-fire twin-barrel naval gun of 130 mm caliber introduced by the Soviet and later the Russian Navy. It is mounted on destroyers and cruisers (for example the Sovremenny, Slava and Kirov classes) and serves against both surface and air targets. The four barrels in the set correspond to two twin-barrel turrets.
Cut the plastic barrels off carefully and replace them with the brass ones, which have finely drilled muzzles. Glue the metal with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and degrease the joint beforehand. A coat of primer and a gray shade matching modern Russian paint are recommended.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
