A set of turned metal barrels for building a Japanese Kagero class destroyer in 1:350 scale. It is not a kit of the ship but a metal detail accessory for models of the Japanese Kagero class destroyer. The barrels are fitted in place of the plastic castings from the box.
The Kagero class destroyers were among the modern units of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War. The set contains the barrels of the 127 mm main guns and of the 25 mm anti-aircraft cannon, that is the elements where a faithful circular section and a drilled muzzle show most.
Cut the plastic barrels off and clean up the openings in the turrets and the mounts. Glue the brass barrels with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Treat the metal with a primer before painting. Place the tiny anti-aircraft barrels with tweezers.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The ship itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
