A cast resin exhaust nozzle intended as a detailed replacement for the rear end of a model of the British Fairey Delta 2 aircraft. Resin allows thin walls and fine internal detail in the duct, which a plastic part usually lacks. This is an accessory for models of this type, not a kit. Compared with the set that includes the afterburner, this variant concentrates on the exhaust nozzle itself.
The Fairey Delta 2 was a British experimental delta-wing aircraft which in 1956 became the first machine to exceed a speed of 1000 miles per hour. It served for research into flight at high speeds.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and clean it up. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The inside of the nozzle comes into its own once painted in metallic shades with a hint of heat discoloration.
The paints, glue and model are not included in the package.
