A set of three 3D printed figures of the deck crew of the US Navy, completed by a trolley for carrying aircraft bombs, in 1:48. It is not a model of an aircraft but figures and equipment for a scene. A red jersey on the deck of an aircraft carrier belongs to the people who work with ordnance, so the figures naturally go with the trolley on which the bombs are brought to the aircraft.
On the deck of an aircraft carrier the individual groups of people are told apart by the color of the jersey, so that even in the noise and confusion it is clear at a glance who is doing what. Red belongs to the ordnance crew and to the crash and salvage men. Carrying heavy bombs to an aircraft is handled with low trolleys, which are run under the hardpoint and the load is raised from them. It is work that goes on continuously on deck, so a scene with a trolley and its crew is typical for models of carrier aircraft.
Cut the print supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the rest away; do not break them. The printed material is hard and brittle, so work without pressure. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the figures separately on a stick and set them into the scene only at the end. A red jersey calls for a light base, otherwise it stays dark and dirty. The trolley, on the contrary, takes pronounced scuffs and greasy marks.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Bombs, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
