Quickwheel Sherman / M10 1:48 — wheel masks

A set of spray masks for separating the rubber tire band from the metal rim of the road wheels quickly and cleanly. The masks follow the shape of the wheels of the chassis shared by the Sherman medium tank and the M10 tank destroyer built on it. They let the rubber band be sprayed with no brushwork and no paint bleeding. This is an aid for painting, not parts of the model, and it is intended for a model in 1:48 scale.

Use

• Spray the wheel in the base metal shade and let it dry.
• Lay the mask on and press it down with a wooden skewer all the way around; do not stretch it.
• Spray the dark rubber shade and lift the mask off once it has flashed off.
• Depending on their condition, the masks can be used repeatedly.

Who the set is for

For modelers of Allied armored equipment in 1:48 scale who want to speed up painting the road wheels and achieve a sharp transition between rubber and metal. The M10 was an American tank destroyer with an open turret built on the basis of the Sherman.

The set contains masks only. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
