Royal Model 1:48 Soldiers painting is a resin figure scene of soldiers at painting work, ideal for bringing dioramas and display models to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin (polyurethane) figure set in 1:48 scale from the Italian brand Royal Model captures soldiers painting or servicing equipment. The castings are marked by a fine rendering of the stances, the uniforms and the small accessories. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and serves as a lively genre scene for a diorama.
Maintenance and camouflage painting of equipment was part of ordinary field life during the Second World War. Figures of soldiers in a working stance with brushes and containers bring action and storytelling into a scene, which static equipment on its own does not offer.
Wash the parts clean of the remains of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean the mold seams up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer coat before painting; in 1:48 scale a combination of an airbrush for the base and a brush for the faces, hands and folds is recommended, with the emphasis on contrast.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
